Kristinn Snær “Kiddi” Agnarsson is one of the most prolific drummers in the Icelandic music scene and has been for the last decade.

As a founding member of Iceland’s most popular reggae band Hjálmar and member of other popular Icelandic bands, Kiddi has played and recorded with most of Iceland’s top musicians. He is in high demand as a session drummer as well as a live performer. 

Since finishing his studies in jazz drumming in Sweden in 2000, Kiddi has recorded and played on over 300 albums and various singles. He has worked as a touring musician as well as a studio drummer and played in theater productions. He has worked with most of Iceland’s biggest acts either on stage or in the studio.

In 2013 Kiddi was recruited by John Grant and was a member of Grant’s band as he toured, promoting his 2013 album Pale Green Ghosts. The band appeared on a number of TV Shows, including the Jools Holland Show and Late Night with David Letterman and recorded a live album with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Since 2010 Kiddi has recorded and played with Ásgeir, and toured the world with him as well as Bang Gang and other artists.

Kristinn uses Zildjian Cymbals, Vic Firth, Gretsch & C&C Drums, Roland electronics, Protection Racket drum cases & JH Audio in-ear monitors.
